Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement after joining five of his colleagues in accepting the American Composites Manufacturers Association’s Legislator of the Year award, which is in recognition of their support for the composites industry and American manufacturing.  Attending the awards ceremony was Mr. David Ring, Manager of Governmental Affairs and Strategic Projects at Strongwell Corporation in Bristol, Virginia.

Griffith said, “I am very pleased to have received this award yesterday.  Composites manufacturers of the United States are an important part of our economic system.  Further, they can create strong, durable products that are used in countless ways.”
