Griffith Statement on Awarding of Rural Development Grant to Wise County

Under the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Facility Grant, Wise County will receive $50,000 for the purchase of Sheriff’s vehicles and equipment. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement

“I am pleased that Wise County has been awarded these funds. They will offer valuable resources so that our law enforcement officials have the tools they need to protect our communities.”
