Griffith Applauds USDA Rural Development Grant of $823,000 to Pennington Gap for Water Infrastructure

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development today awarded a grant of $823,000 to the Town of Pennington Gap to improve the town’s water treatment plant. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Water service plays a critical role in promoting public health and increasing quality of life. Today’s award by USDA Rural Development of $823,000 will support major repairs to the town’s water treatment plant. This is a significant investment for the people of Pennington Gap.”
