USDA Rural Development Awards $116,600 to Grayson County for Law Enforcement and Sanitation Vehicles

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has awarded two grants totaling $116,600 to Grayson County for the purchase of two law enforcement vehicles and two sanitation vehicles. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“USDA Rural Development awarded a total of $116,600 in grants to Grayson County. A grant of $41,600 will be used to help purchase two properly outfitted law enforcement vehicles. These vehicles are needed to provide public safety for the county’s residents. An additional grant of $75,000 will aid in the purchase of two new sanitation vehicles for the county since two of their garbage trucks are in need or replacement.”
