Griffith Announces $1.1 Million to St. Charles Health Council for Black Lung Clinic Program

Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $1,138,200 through their Black Lung/Coal Miner Clinics Program to the St. Charles Health Council, located in Jonesville, Virginia. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Black lung is a horrible medical condition many coal miners must deal with. Today’s award of more than one million dollars to the St. Charles Health Council for black lung program services will help miners get the care they need.”
