U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development today approved a low interest loan of $ 8,833,000 for the City of Galax to improve the city’s water treatment plant. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Water service plays a critical role in promoting public health and increasing quality of life. Today’s low interest loan from USDA Rural Development of $8,833,000 will support major upgrades to the city’s water treatment plant, benefiting all residents and businesses in Galax.”
