GRIFFITH ON FY 2012 BUDGET VOTE
Washington,
April 15, 2011
The Ryan budget passed the House today with my support. This budget serves as a blueprint for the appropriations bills that ultimately fund the government and sets a hard limit for spending.
Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statementregarding final passage of the H. Con. Res. 34, the Ryan budget, in the House: “The Ryan budget passed the House today with my support. This budget serves as a blueprint for the appropriations bills that ultimately fund the government and sets a hard limit for spending. While the Continuing Resolution was a small step, this budget is a stride in the right direction. The spending debate has shifted from cutting billions to trillions; a direction in which we should be going. We have got to stop spending money we do not have.” ### |
