In January, I took an oath to uphold the Constitution.
Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement today honoring Constitution Day: “In January, I took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Today, Constitution Day, I reaffirm that oath and my commitment to support and defend the Constitution. The Constitution is the very foundation of the United States of America and should guide our work in Congress. It enumerates the rights of individuals and the express limitations of government. As a Member of the House of Representatives, it is my duty to protect our constitutional rights and freedoms. The work of our Founding Fathers must not be forgotten.” ### |
