Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement today reminding seniors in the Ninth District that Medicare’s Annual Open Enrollment Period for Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare prescription drug coverage (Part D) is currently open and will end on December 7, 2011:

“Ninth District seniors have another month to make optional changes to their Medicare coverage for 2012,” said Congressman Griffith.  “During this time, seniors can add, drop, or switch their coverage options. Seniors and family members may want to review the options to find the plan that best meets their needs. The Medicare programs can often be very complex. If you or someone you know need assistance with Medicare, my office is available to help.”
