Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement following the announcement that Volvo is going to invest $69 million in its New River Valley (NRV) truck assembly plant:

“Volvo’s $69 million investment in state-of-the art equipment, processes and plant redesign will further improve manufacturing efficiency and vehicle quality at Volvo’s NRV Manufacturing Plant.  This investment is a testament of the high quality craftsmanship at the NRV plant.  I applaud Volvo for its continued support of its employees and surrounding communities in Southwest Virginia.”
