Friday, October 28, 2016 – Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) today issued the following statement after FBI Director James Comey notified Congress that he is reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server:

“Although it is overdue, I applaud the FBI’s reopening of its investigation of Secretary Clinton. I hope the American people get the answers they deserve. As John Adams wrote, our system of government is ‘a government of laws, and not of men.’”
