Griffith Statement on Awarding of Rural Development Grant to Alleghany County

Under the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Economic Impact Initiative Grant, Alleghany County will receive $50,000 for the purchase of police vehicles. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement

“I am pleased that Alleghany County has been awarded these funds. They will offer valuable resources so that our law enforcement officials have the tools they need to protect our communities.”
