Griffith Applauds $178,616 FEMA Grant to Fries Firefighters

Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement after the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced a $178,616 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant to the Fries Fire Department:

“FEMA’s announcement of $178,616 to the Fries Fire Department is welcome news. With these funds, they will be able to recruit new members for the department. The support provided will be critical in keeping Fries and surrounding areas safe.”
