Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement announcing the winners of the Congressional App Challenge in Virginia’s Ninth Congressional District: “The Congressional App Competition allows high school students to display their creativity and technological skill by developing an original app. “I am pleased to announce that the Ninth District winner of this year’s competition is the team of Nathan Mullins, Destiny Collins, Anthony King, and Jaxson McCowan of Lebanon High School for their app, ‘Tagged.’ “Cole Jones of Auburn Middle School earned second place with ‘Block Attack.’ “Congratulations to these young men and women on their accomplishment. I am proud of the ingenuity and talent displayed by the young people of the Ninth District in this year’s challenge.” ### |
