The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it has awarded New River Valley Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic a mental health and substance abuse service grant totaling $3,971,825. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement: “Mental health care cannot be neglected during the coronavirus outbreak. Certified community behavioral health clinics help patients receive the treatment they need, and this HHS grant of $3,971,825 will provide more services for mental health care in the New River Valley.” This grant was funded by the CARES Act, which Griffith supported. ### |
