The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development approved a loan of $269,000 and a grant of $269,000, a total of $538,000 in funding, to the Scott County Public Service Authority for providing public sewer service to the Daniel Boone community. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement: “Inadequate water sanitation systems in the Daniel Boone community pose a health hazard to its residents. The USDA Rural Development award of $538,000 in funding for public sewer service will support the needed infrastructure to correct this issue and will directly benefit the people of the community.” ### |
