U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development today awarded a loan of $454,000 and a grant of $421,000 to the Town of Stuart to improve the town’s wastewater treatment plant. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Water infrastructure is important to the health, quality of life, and economic potential of a community. Today’s award by USDA Rural Development of $875,000 to Stuart will support a major upgrade to the town’s wastewater treatment plant. This is a significant investment for the people of Stuart.”
