The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued a $2,002,021 grant to the Community Health Center of the New River Valley, formerly known as the Free Clinic of the New River Valley. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Community health centers offer essential services to many residents of Virginia’s Ninth Congressional District. Today’s award of $2,002,021 to the Community Health Center of the New River Valley by HHS will go far in providing health care to people in need in our region.”
