Russell County Public Service Authority Receives $172,700 in Federal Funds for Service Trucks

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development today awarded the Russell County Public Service Authority a loan of $97,700 and a grant of $75,000, a total of $172,700, for the purchase of six service trucks. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Purchasing new and modern equipment can challenge the budgets of rural communities. Today’s award of $172,700 to the Russell County Public Service Authority for six new trucks will greatly aid the delivery of public services to county residents.”
