Griffith Applauds Appalachian Regional Commission Award of $267,500 for Waterline Replacement in Dickenson County

The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) today awarded a $267,500 grant for waterline replacement in Dickenson County. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement: “Today’s award of $267,500 will support a major upgrade to the water systems in Dickenson County. Water infrastructure is crucial for the communities in the Ninth District, and I am pleased to see these funds assisting in furthering these developments.” Further Information ARC awarded $267,500 to the to the Dickenson County Public Service Authority (DCPSA) to replace underdeveloped and leaking waterlines to 35 households in the Backbone Ridge and Edwards Ridge community in Dickenson County. This project will support the replacement of 14,900 linear feet of waterline at sites along Backbone Ridge Road, Low Gap Road, Edwards Ridge, Turkey Branch, and Crooked Branch. ### |
