The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has awarded a grant of $50,000 to Giles County, along with a loan for $203,000, for the purchase of a sanitation vehicle. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“USDA Rural Development’s $50,000 grant, and accompanying loan, to Giles County for a sanitation vehicle will allow the county to update its aging sanitation fleet, helping to ensure continuity of services for the residents of Giles.”
