Today, Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through their fiscal year 2023 Capital Fund Emergency Safety and Security Funding program, has awarded $250,000 to Wise County Redevelopment and Housing Authority. The grant will be used for the purchase of surveillance cameras, lighting, and a secure electronic entry system at the Clinchview Apartments.

“Every American deserves to live in a place where they feel safe,” said Griffith. “Today’s award of $250,000 by HUD to the Wise County Redevelopment and Housing Authority to purchase equipment for security at the Clinchview Apartments will assist in improving the safety of residents.”
