Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) today announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded $4,375,389 to the Town of Bedford for the installation of a new diesel-powered generator system for the Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital.

“This award by FEMA to replace the Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital generator system is great news for the area’s residents. This new generator system will be able to power all facilities at the site, ensuring that if there is ever a need for back-up electricity, the hospital will be well prepared.”
