The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development today awarded Craig County $25,000 that will be combined with $30,050 from the county to purchase an updated law enforcement vehicle. The current vehicle is over 15 years old. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Rural communities often face difficulties in upgrading their equipment used for public services. This $25,000 investment by USDA Rural Development will help Craig County purchase an updated law enforcement vehicle.”
