I’ve heard from many of you in the past that you’d like to participate in my telephone town halls via your cell phone (instead of your landline). In an effort to accommodate these requests for constituents throughout the District, we sent a text message through a 3^rd party vendor. It was communicated to us that the vendor would not send texts out after 9 pm, which was done. Unbeknownst to us, when the vendor sent out the text to various carriers (AT&T, Verizon, etc.), there were delays. Many people received the text after 9 pm, some in the middle of the night.

While this was not my intention, I want to sincerely apologize to those who were inconvenienced by a late-night text.

That being said, if you would like to participate in my telephone town halls in the future via your cellphone, please send an email through our website (https://morgangriffith.house.gov/contact/contactform.htm) with your name, address, and cell phone number and I’ll be sure to include you when I host a telephone town hall in your area.
