Griffith Announces $149,600 For Strategic Economic Planning in Floyd County

The Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration has awarded $149,600 to the Economic Development Authority of Floyd County, Virginia. This money will be used to develop and implement a strategic plan for economic resilience in the aftermath of natural disasters in the region over the past few years. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement: “I am pleased the Economic Development Administration has awarded this $149,600 grant as it will help ensure Floyd County has a strategic economic resiliency plan in place, supporting redevelopment and revitalization in the region in the face of recent natural disasters.” ### |
