Griffith Announces $1 Million DOT Grant to Rocky Mount, VA

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded the Town of Rocky Mount a $1,000,000 grant. This grant money supports the Town’s Highway 40 Corridor Multimodal Assessment and Master Plan. The plan will identify potential mobility and connectivity improvements along 1.5 miles of Highway 40 and 0.7 miles of Tanyard Road. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
“This grant for $1,000,000 helps Rocky Mount explore infrastructure improvements in Franklin County to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.”
