The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded Martinsville-Henry Coalition for Health and Wellness a $873,542 grant. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“This September, I visited and toured the Bassett Health Center that operates as part of Connect Health + Wellness.

“This grant for more than $873,000 helps Connect Health + Wellness provide critical health care services and treatments.”

BACKGROUND

The funding made available by this grant comes through the HHS H80 Health Center Program.

Connect Health + Wellness serves constituencies in various localities, with operating facilities extending to Bassett, Martinsville, Patrick Springs, Stuart and Ridgeway.
