U.S. President Donald J. Trump has been sworn into office as the 47^th president of the United States of America. Following the inauguration ceremony, U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“I congratulate President Trump and Vice President Vance on today’s proceedings, in which they took their oaths of office. Now that they are sworn in, a new Administration can get to work and address the challenges that they were elected by the American people to solve.
