The 'Reid Plan'fraught with Washington spending gimmicks, is nothing more than a blank check for President Obama and the spending lovers in Congress.
Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement today regarding his vote in opposition to the so-called Reid Plan: “The ‘Reid Plan,’ fraught with Washington spending gimmicks, is nothing more than a blank check for President Obama and the spending lovers in Congress. It lacks spending discipline – raises the debt ceiling by more than it even purports to cut. This is a fiscally irresponsible plan which would continue America down the path of mountainous debt to financial ruin, and therefore I voted no.” ### |
