Goodlatte, Griffith, Hurt honor D-Day veteran Bob Slaughter on House floor

WASHINGTON, DC --

Southwest Virginia's three Congressmen praised the life of Roanoke D-Day veteran Bob Slaughter on the House floor Thursday morning.

6th District Congressman Bob Goodlatte gave the speech, with 9th District Congressman Morgan Griffith, and 5th District Congressman Robert hurt joining him in offering the speech.

The trio praised Slaughter's work on behalf of veterans, and his vision to bring the National D-Day Memorial to Bedford.
