Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement today in remembrance of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States: “On this day, we remember and honor the lives so tragically lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. Like many of you, I have not forgotten where I was and what I was doing when the planes hit and we realized that the United States of America was under attack. My prayers continue to be with the families of those lost in the attacks, and are also with those who put their lives on the line to help keep our communities safe and help others. We are thankful for their dedication and selfless service. “May God continue to bless the United States of America.” Attached is a photo of Rep. Griffith and his colleagues at today’s Congressional Remembrance Ceremony for the Twelfth Observance of September 11, 2001, on the East Front Steps of the Capitol. ### |
