Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement today announcing those receiving congressional nominations from his office to the United States Service Academies: “Each year I have the honor and privilege of nominating a limited number of young men and women to United States Service Academies. I commend each of these students for their willingness to serve our nation, and I am proud to recommend them. Congratulations to the nominees – I wish you success as you pursue appointment to a service academy and in all your future endeavors.” Ninth District Nominees* United States Air Force Academy Jarod Kester – Hiwassee, Pulaski County United States Military Academy at West Point John Reichler – Abingdon, Washington County United States Naval Academy Megan Crouch – Salem * In order to receive an appointment, nominees must meet all entrance requirements of the specific Academy. Nominees will be notified by the individual Academies upon appointment. ### |
