Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) celebrated today’s announcement of 212 jobs created by Press Glass, which will build a manufacturing operation in Henry County. Press Glass, a flat glass processing operation headquartered in Poland, will invest $43.55 million in the project. Griffith attended the announcement and issued the following statement:

“Today’s announcement is exciting for Henry County. Press Glass is the latest company to recognize that Southside Virginia has the assets for manufacturing to thrive. Its plans to create 212 jobs and invest $43.55 million represent a significant boost for economic development in the area. I look forward to the new jobs and opportunity provided by today’s great news.”

Background:

Press Glass will locate its manufacturing facility in the Commonwealth Crossing Industrial Park. Griffith and members of the Virginia congressional delegation worked with the Army Corps of Engineers to allow the project to move forward.
