Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement today after U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development approved a $30,000 grant to the Dickenson County Public Service Authority: “Water infrastructure is key to a community’s quality of life. This $30,000 Rural Development grant will advance studies of the replacement of water lines in the Backbone Ridge area. It will help Dickenson County make progress in serving the water needs of its residents.” Background This USDA Rural Development grant will be used for Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Reports to evaluate the improvement of service to existing residents and businesses. ### |
