Griffith Statement on Roanoke River PFAS Levels

Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement on the announcement by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regarding Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in the Roanoke River:

“I will continue to monitor work as a result of elevated PFAS levels in the Roanoke River. I appreciate that DEQ is acting to remedy the situation and look forward to answers on how the problem developed.”
