The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded a grant of $1,266,794 to Solutions That Empower People (STEP), Inc in Rocky Mount, Virginia for Head Start projects. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“I had the privilege of visiting STEP’s Rocky Mount facility back in August. This $1,266,794 grant from the Department of Health and Human Services will aid in child development services rendered to families and children of Bedford, Franklin, Henry and Patrick Counties, and the City of Martinsville.”
