The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded a grant of $2,477,510 to People Incorporated of Virginia, based in Abingdon, for Head Start and Early Head Start. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“HHS’ award of almost $2.5 million to People Incorporated of Virginia will continue to provide children in our region with access to Head Start and Early Head Start.”
