I believe the minimum essential coverage provision penalty is unconstitutional. I took an oath to uphold the Constitution. This time last year as a Member of Virginia House of Delegates, defending that Constitution, I was proud to cast my vote for House Bill 10, which mandated no Virginian shall be required to buy health insurance. Our Attorney General has joined the fray and filed suit in court and is winning. As Virginians, we did not accept the chains of George III, nor will we accept the chains of ObamaCare. Read more »

Yesterday we witnessed another attempt by the EPA to scrap valuable American jobs in the coal fields for no reason. In a time of troubling unemployment rates, I’m outraged that the EPA’s Washington bureaucrats think it’s a good idea to take away good paying local jobs. Read more »

While I have not had the chance to get to know Congresswoman Giffords, I was deeply saddened by yesterday’s vicious attack on the Congresswoman and her staff in Arizona. The fact that she was fulfilling her congressional duties by serving her constituents makes yesterday's event all the more tragic.
